Another COMPLEXURF Day event was held in Université libre de Bruxelles

in February 2024, hosted by Prof. Pierre Lambert and Dr. Adam Chafai. The event included 6 scientific talks:

1- Does wetting matter in icephobicity? by Navid Mostofi Sarkari, COMPLEXURF KU Leuven

2- Use of Schlieren techniques to visualize convection around chemical patterns and during ice growth by Prof. Anne De Wit, Université libre de Bruxelles

3- Interfacial interactions and their effects on wetting at high temperatures by Youqing Sun, COMPLEXURF KU Leuven

4- Towards the quantitative mapping of the mechanical properties of materials by Dynamic AFM: When IA meets Materials! by Prof. Philippe Leclere, UMONS

5- On the nanoscale mechanical and viscoelastic properties of high Impact polymer composites by Pierre Nickmilder, UMONS

6- Interferometry for studies of moving/evaporating contact lines by Prof. @Pierre COLINET and Dr. Senthil Kumar Parimalanathan, Université libre de Bruxelles

The event was followed by discussion sessions regarding research facilities and collaboration between Micromilli (Université libre de Bruxelles), Laboratory for Physics of Nanomaterials and Energy (UMONS), and COMPLEXURF KU Leuven.
